What we do goes further than simply doing good business—we believe in doing good, for everyone, in every part of a business’ value chain. Because what good is providing services and solutions if we’re not trying to do better for the earth, and the people who live there?

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

Doing good by design

We exist to make a difference. To promote wellbeing through design and deliver services that create beautiful spaces, while supporting and enhancing wellbeing in the community.

As the custodians of this land, we’re putting real steps in place to create a better future. Through our business we support initiatives that support growth and provide meaningful opportunities for First Nations communities.

Because that’s how we all benefit. By nurturing a greater respect and understanding of all cultures, we create value that transcends a tick-box. It helps us learn. Grow. And work together to create real change.

A partnership for better

Yungarra Projects is a partnership between Yungarra and UCI to deliver furniture and service solutions for workplace and commercial environments.

It’s more than a business venture. Yungarra Projects is guided by the passion and determination of Braden Cotterill. Braden is a proud Yamatji/Widi man who has a strong cultural connection to Yalgoo, a small community located in the mid west of Western Australia. It’s where his family comes from. His unique cultural perspective and experience ensures that the vision and values of his culture are included in the decisions we make, and the initiatives we support.

Braden’s stewardship is backed by the strength of UCI. UCI has over 50 years of experience delivering a vast array of projects across Australia, and assures everything we do upholds the finest product and service quality.

Creating opportunities to walk together

We’re committed to supporting First Nations communities by creating meaningful pathways to employment, support, and connection. To achieve this, we partner with clients who are looking at better ways to do things. Clients who see the value in good design; who seek to create better spaces for the people that use them, while actively providing opportunities for communities that need it.

A suite of services designed to create more meaningful spaces

"Yungarra Projects partners with UCI to provide services for workplace and commercial environments, to the corporate and government sectors.

Together, we deliver solutions that are thoughtfully considered and locally supported. We work with brands that think deeply, who create and innovate, but do so with respect to the environment and the people that use their products.

We actively include our clients in our vision, acting with transparency and inclusion to ensure everyone involved in the process is aligned with our journey. After all, we each have a part to play in making real change happen.

Connected to community

Yalgoo is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it town. Small and out of sight. However, its true beauty comes from its people, and the Country it sits on. And while small, it’s a place of power. Of hope and purpose. A strong culture where its people draw internal strength from themselves and Country to support those around them. Creating change, creating pathways, and building opportunities that ensure the next generation thrive.

Through Braden we’re connected to this country. To the people that live there. And in this, we’re lucky. Yungarra Projects is on a journey to work with the community through various projects and initiatives that add value and meaning. It provides us with the opportunity to understand their values, to respect and learn from them. We carry this with us wherever we go in Australia, across all the lands on which we work, and ensure it’s nurtured in every partnership we create.
